Meeting New People
This set of worksheets is all about meeting new people! When we meet new people, we have to get to know them. We learn how to start conversations, find out what we have in common with that person, and make comments that relate to things about them.
These worksheets focus on the ins and outs of conversations. They teach what the right messages are, and how to speak differently to different people. They also go over the other messages you send during a conversation, like body language and tone of voice.
These worksheets go more in depth into problem solving, getting into specific situations and how we should react to them. You can match the appropriate reaction to each problem, and also discuss as a group what the difference between big and small problems are.
It’s hard to understand how others feel if we can understand our own feelings. First work on understanding what makes us feel happy and sad before you learn about how other people feel. Then go over some specific scenarios and learn how each person is feeling.
